gardiners carbon gooseneck for domestic work?

are they worthwhile?

Ive got one but only use it on my 35ft, its extremly light, I dont need it on run of the mill domestic....

Been using the gooseneck on deep sills on a nursing home today, there so light you wouldnt believe,

Will pass it on to him  ;)
