disconnect the DI flush the RO system for a couple of hours then start to make pure water still without the DI connected try to leave it and see if you can get it as low as it will go and then only connect the DI. Everytime you flush disconnect the DI

That sounds like mine; but leave it; it'll produce loads in 24 hours. Mine just trickles out, and we can get through 600 litres in a day, and my RO keeps up.
Anyway, you've just reminded me; mine's been flushing all day; I bet I've got the best flushed RO filters in Chepstow right at this very minute.
Oh, make sure your RO isn't set on flush. Turn the nob, when the water is really jetting out of the green pipe, it's on flush and your pure water really trickles out slowly, and when it's not on flush, your pure water trickles out a bit faster and it's not jetting out of your green waste pipe; this is the normal setting.
I flush mine at least once-per-week for about an hour; longer if I forget about it.
How're you getting on with the rest of your system?
