i'm guessing you just remove the actual clamp and fit it onto you current angle adaptor?
-
yes jsmc it looks like you just remove the current nut and bolt/wheel and replace with the new quick release. is it as easy as it looks Tosh? just ordered 2 @ £2.50 each inc delivery. i thought that was good. i have plenty of ange adapters kicking around.
-
"apparently" its not that same as doing this.
They do look handy tho cause the currents ones are a proper pain. Cant even undo the one ive got at mo

I can't comment on these "official" ones but I've been using a spare SLX clamp lever to do the same job & it really is so much better than the standard screw. Much faster & easier! ;)
-
is it easy to fit winpro? of course it is ill get my coat ;D
-
you need one wit a spring on it
-
oh? :( well im sure i will get it working somehow.

Very! ;D You will need to use the slx clamp bolt if I remember correctly.
The official ones might have a better "action" being spring loaded I would imagine but the slx clamp is small & neat & only needs a flick with the thumb!

thanks wp...have you got your extreme pole yet?

The Flip Fast is spot on; this will be one of those items which will be 'standard' on all domestic poles where it's handy to change the angle regularly; I reckon! :P
It works better than I thought it would. You clean the 1st floor windows, lower the pole and while you're doing it, it's just another clamp to adjust and you clean the ground floor windows. It's so easy it feels like you're cheating.

I got the official one. I wasn't aware there was any others. But it's a great bit of kit.

Hi JSMC I had the clamp off the boys bike until mine arrive to give it a try and it works great! ATT: SENSEI I didnt need a spring either just letting you know. so thats £2.50 each instead of £10 if you use your own angle adapter.
