Fed up waiting to upgrade my pole & for Gardiners to re-stock.
What other good poles are out there?
-
I think the lack of replies says it all. But the is a new company making carbon fibre poles I think they are called the wfp co. They are cheaper than the slx but mire expensive than the clx.
-
I think Gardiners still have some sizes in stock!! ::)
-
surely this is a good think, they sell out quickly as people want them, i think they get a delivery every month
-
Not supposed to give too much away yet, but there is a new pole being released soon from Sureclean systems that I'm told will give the SL-X a bit of competition.
I'm getting my hands on one for a trial next week so I'll let you know what its like. :)

None as good as Gardiners in my opinion. That's why stock can sometimes go quickly. Then again, they last for ages if looked after well. I'm still on the original SL-X.

Iv got the first slx great pole keep cutting it down when it wears down don't like the new carbon they do but I'm saving for there new pole ;D

I have one of those poles nat and they do
Give slx a run for there money as the clamps are better

Gardiners over the years have shown technical expertise, customer service and they actually know what is needed.
Ok there have been some issues in the early days of the pole but most of that transpired to be issues caused by the 3rd party factories making the poles.
These initial teething problems allowed Gardiners to show that they truely know what customer service is.....Lets face it we all make mistakes from time to time but it's how you resolve those mistakes which shows your true colours.
And Gardiners have consistinly come through.
I have no connection with Gardiners other than being a customer and I pay more for my gear as I have to have it shipped to Holland which isn't cheap.
So alternative...not for me.
Cheers
