Title: has anyone used bt for a website

has anyone used bt to do their website if so whats the feedback ?

I did and it was awful. I eventually went to DP Designs and binned my BT Account and subsequent website with outstanding results.

I've never looked back.... :)

colin i just took a look at your site and then went to dp design and i might give them a try, what are they like to deal with ? are they helpful with inexperienced it users ?. has the site you have been worth the money in terms of return on investment ?.

I am picking up a lot of work from further afield (London, Edinburgh, Leicester) for holiday homes down here in Cornwall. That extra work alone has paid for the new web site a couple of times over.

Mark at DP knows I haven't got a clue about websites, but he's really helped me through, he knows his game....

Don't touch them with a barge pole.

They demonstrate little knowledge of on site factors or (more importantly) offsite factors. It would appear that once the contract is signed they have very little interest either.

I spoke to someone at the weekend who signed up with them. This person operates locally in a small town. Unbeliveably, with virtually no competiton, he is still back on page 4 for his main keyword phrase.

He is paying £ 79.00 + VAT each month for the priviledge (for what, lord only knows).

i no longer deal with bt for any advertising, they are a joke and will rip you off.

   I had Mark at D P Desgn and print do me a website, Has got me a lot of work and found him down to earth and very helpful.
