What is a good carpet cleaner to buy for just starting up? I seen the "extel" from extracta clean and it looks a good bit of kit. but a big ££ risk if things dont goto plan.
Is there any good machines out there for maybe £500 that will "do the job"
cheers

No
Zero point in expanding on that answer

Not really. Unless you go for a used machine.

or any companies out there that "lease" out machines?

e-bay or look in the buy/sell section on CIU
I know Solutions in Cornwall used to do a lease system but I expect any of the major players would do it too.

Would not bother leasing, you could get a second hand portable for around 700 and less would be rubbish, but you need to spend more on bits and pieces you ll need. Then you got advertising. Sounds like your on a tight budget, it will be painful.
Best idea is get a start up loan.

You'll get plenty of people packing up and selling cheap, but you need to be looking out for a suitable set up. For all I know, you could live round the corner from me, so I won't elaborate ;)

Most leasing companies require you to be trading for 12+ months.

Hi
I have a Craftex Sabrina Maxi for sale.
Used but in good working order. I used this for about six months while I was learning and did quite a few jobs with it.
I have advertised it on Gum Tree for £400 but am open to sensible offers.
