Title: varistream digital, help

can someone give instructions on calibrating or first setup as no instructions with mine. It work then stops with a U in display or an L just checking battery now.

I remember from mine (was a while ago!) that if you hold the + & - together until they start flashing you can set it up.

Both of the digital Varistreams I have are 'first' generation and are about 3 years old. The new ones seem to have lots of new features, but there is nothing on Williamson's site promoting these features.
I wonder if 'Varistream' is the new 'hoover' for all electronic controllers.
