300gpd RO system (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/300-GPD-REVERSE-OSMOSIS-POLE-WINDOW-CLEANING-SYSTEM-/160546270082?pt=UK_HomeGarden_CLV_Cleaning_CA&hash=item25614dab82)   £150

Clarke water pump (http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/details/tam105-1in-230v-centrifugal-water-pump)   £66

Total: £216

This water pump gives to RO just about 100PSI

Dave. I've been looking at booster pumps and ian101 has got a Clarke pump with a tank but he got the wrong one because it cuts off at a certain pressure, does this one you have got work well even though it doesn't have a tank? Also what is your tap pressure going into it?

yeah mine works great cant fault it for the last 2/3 years, no mine does not shut off randomly.. but it would if the water from the tap sudnley stopped its a safety cut off stops dry running quite good really as my tap is quite far away from the RO so its good just in case some idiot comes out and thinks oh why is that tap on il turn it off... usually her in doors!

Is this (http://www.purefreedom.co.uk/24v-aquatec-reverse-osmosis-booster-pump-power-supply-p-274.html) what you are planning to buy?

Are you going to use it with this sort of (http://www.purefreedom.co.uk/compact-reverse-osmosis-systems-200-450-gpd-p-291.html) RO system or something more proffesional like 4040?
