.. bedroom carpet size 80/20
confronted with this this morning :o a shocker (oil, make up, tar, paint, blobs of something or other) ,,,,, BUT
How much she asks?
Well madam, the good news is it's cleanable, the bad news is it's min charge ;D
How much is min charge?
£70 madam that's cash on completion ;D ;D
Action plan: Vacuumed, re-fitted door tread (re-stretch, adhesive, tuck down) hit with F90 mixed with Citrus pre-spray as extra buffer (yes high ph on a wool but needed it to get the result), agitated sebo, dwell 15 mins, tucked down & wiped around edges with terry towel & master stain remover, extracted 150psi 70 degrees. Not good enough ???
Hit with another dose of F90, citrus, master stain remover over bad areas, white spirit, hand brushed in, waited 10 mins extracted (less pressure) and hey presto THE RESULT!! :P
Madam that's £70 please (1 hour later) ;)
She looked at the carpet and told me I was the best carpet cleaner in the world!! ::)
Anybody else got any before and after pics?

Thank you. I don't recommend any courses because I believe you only learn from an old hand (not saying I'm old) on the job :P
The secret is all in the preperation, knowledge passed on, using a good high ph powder like F90 (the rest are sh*t IMO) & NOT the machinery. I use a porty not a TM (that's another issue) :-X
The end result is not only having a very clean carpet but having a smart tidy looking carpet, re-stretching, tucking down, repairs, re-seaming, re-tufting, re-new door bars etc before the cleaning process to really make a good impression (that's of course if the carpet needs that amount of work, and it is extra) ...
You go the extra mile you get financially rewarded well and lots of referrals....
As far as coming out with me I'm afraid your abit too close for me liking :-\ sorry....... :'(
Good luck with your new business :)

I tend to do a minger of a carpet, get great results then think 'Bugger, I should have done a before and after' ;D
BTW, brilliant results, what other chems have you tried in the past?

Thanks for that.
Powder wise i think we've been through them all, extra chem (early 80's), cyrstal green (rubbish), double clean, stapro single pass or stabright (whatever it's called), ashbys powder, ultimate master,,,,,
Also tried a wide range of micro splitters, absolute waste of time and money....rubbish!!!!!
About a year ago we gave F90 powder a trial and we've never looked back.
We used to get feed back from the customer "it's great" or "brilliant job" now we get "amazing job", "fantastic" and that's the big difference, quality of finish.
We don't do an acid rinse or a fresh water rinse with this product even though its very high ph. We spray on the product, let it work, and 'rinse' using the same product but milder dilution rate.
Anything left forms a crystalisation which is vacuumed off.
We'll never use anything else now. What do you use Colin? :)

Fushion8 and M-Power with Soluboost, Blitz, and Prochem Power Burst....
I have used most but never tried F90, might have to pick some up :)
(BTW, sorry for my little outbursts yesterday, I should know better than to visit CIU with a skin full of Carlsberg....)

Apologies too, we'll just forget about that.
F90 powder for us just cuts through the dirt easily, also it leaves the carpet looking its true colour again, bright & cheerful.
The only way I can describe it, is if you wash your car it's clean, however if you wash and polish/wax your car its shiny, and to me that's what F90 is all about, it's the best product IMO, with a very superior finish! (Did that make sense) ???
Anyhow, fully recommend it, give it ago, your'll be surprised as to the results :o
Less work with this powder and better results sums it up! :)

Wow great result.
Did you put new paneling on the wall as well, as the first picture in the top right wall looks a different colour? :-[
-
Ive just looked at the 2 pics more clodely too.
1) The carpet that is dirty looks white/off white (cant see that light would affect the pic quality that much?), whereas the clean carpet looks like a tan or a goldy colour?
2) The items near the unit (Folder/file) is now a ring binder in the clean pic. Also you wouldnt put that back on the damp carpet after cleaning - you'd put it on the bed wouldnt you? ......Or if you didnt clean it there, then why put something else there instead?
It may be nothing of course ;D

If you look at the foot of the bed you can clearly see it is the same one on both pics.
-
Don't think anyone is disputing its not the same room/area Colin ??? If its genuine, its stunning.

I was referring to this quote. I reckon it's genuine, I bet it looked loads better just after a pre-vac....
-
don't see what all the fuss is about, clean these mingers every day, doesn't take 2 attemps either if you use the right chems.
-
I agree, I did one this morning that was worse than the one pictured above, orange juice, make up and pen.... Came up a treat :)
-
I think you might find that this is what most carpet cleaners do on a daily basis.
