Title: renault kangoo tank size?
Post by: john stracey on April 16, 2011, 04:48:59 pm
I have a Renault Kangoo 1.9 van and want to set up a wfp system in it .has anyone done this, and if so what size tank did you go with, I think an upright would be best, as wheel arches are going to get in the way of a  flat tank.

I used one for nearly 6 years, it was a 1.9D65. I had a 400ltr flat tank in it no problem size wise. However, with a 665kg payload I would have been close to that at least when fully loaded. The van still handled it well though.

There is a higher payload model, around 800kg.

I have a kangoo with a 350l tank, I think its pretty maxed out weight wise. Its an old 1.9TD but it still pulls weight fine with 2 people ladders etc.
