Hi all :)

My round is starting to get to a size now where its getting hard just using a pen and paper to sort my custys out.

My question is which programme is the most idiot proof to use  ;D

Im not the best with computer technology!!

There are both really easy to use...WCP is still available but is not being updated any further. George is a very good program too.

I have used both for extended periods and If I were starting again I would choose George at this point only because it is still a growing entity.

Both are easy to use best bet would be to download both versions and trial them for yourself.

You might also like to look at aworka (aworka.com) it requires amonthly subscription but it's an excellent application which also works on a Smartphone. Hope this helps John

I'd suggest Roundtracker. Unbeatable for the price -  £37.

If you are working on your own George is ideal and reasonably priced.

If you have more workers then WCP is easier for you to manage worksheets etc.

we tried george on tial for a week and it has made life so much easier that we bought it after one week, easy to use and prettry self explanatory, u can put all you customer details, your expenses, mileague and it give you a snap shot of earnings every week, month, year.

You can customise all your expenses and so will make doing sef assessment at the end of year dead easy as you can add in your own expense categories.  you can have pocket george in you mobile which you can sync every night and as you do a job u tick done and payed/or not paid and then update at the end of each day with you home pc, it gives u a list of debt and who needs to pay, i could go on.

We had paper based file with customer sheet and had to manually do rounds and dates etc it works all this out for u dependent on the frequency of each customer u put in.

Believe u me its as simple as that.  It has made our life easier in just a few weeks.
