just my view, i dont feel they are needed.

even if just a trad wc, a wfp pole can be used from customer tap.

we use step ladders for hard to reach places

im trad and done a fair few conny roof cleans to a very good standard just using one of them ladders that snap in half to become a step ladder, and unger 4 metre pole / brush,i wouldnt waste my money on a conny ladder they arnt needed for conny cleans,if they were £100 i would proberly consider getting 1 just to clean the windows above a conny

It depends what kind of a clean you want.   Many are happy to just wash down a conservatory roof to get rid of the green etc., but I like to get up on top with upvc restorer and get rid of the grey upvc as well.  A water fed brush doesn't do that.

Of course it takes a lot longer, but then I charge a premium.

My conservatory roof ladders were over £400 around 5 or 6 years ago, but were worth every penny.

i dont agree that wfp doesnt clean it aswell, a good chemical tfr, ubik, viro sol will do the job

worth every penny, i hardly use the roof attachment, but use it as a stand off.

they are very wide, and adjustable feet for uneven ground, if you plan on doing a few connies, will be worth your while!!

we turn over around 8k a year just on con valets so trust me i know what im doing mate.

it very simple, step ladder, 5 ltr sprayer with chemical.

spray the roof - leave for 5 mins.

wfp from a customer tap can get great pressure through the jets on the brush.

never ever had a single problem

Can you please tell me what and how a chemical can get the upvc back to white by using just a wfp?
I do these day in and day out and without my connie ladders there is no way i could do a proper cleaning of the finials without actually getting up there and scrubbing...
So as you can guess connie ladders are a must to anyone who wants to do a valet rather than a clean.

hi dan

i use either ecover truckwash or autoglym tfr through a sprayer

leave for a while then scrub with a vikan brush connected to custy tap

then rinse with pure ,

never had a problem ,and always get superb results

i would never go back to the way you do it, no offence by the way

just find its easier and does a far better job

Not having a go at anyone by the way....so rein yourself in Wc solutions (other post noted  ;))
When you get upvc with ingrained dirt and grime/pollution whatever you call it...especially in corners are you honestly telling me that leaving a chemical on the offending area then a rinse will get the grey areas back to white?....on sills in corners is a typical example of where to get it back to original colour requires solvent/cream cleaning agent and a lot of elbow grease,i have never came across a chemical that will take this type of crud back to original finish...and that is where connie ladders come into use as the finials especially often get discoloured....
anyway i hope i am doing it wrong so that after more years than wc solutions in the trade i have learnt a new tip... ;D
i know where you are coming from dan, ;) ;)be intested to know how you can remove this ingained marks,we do alot of con cleans but some time not happy with the results in my eyes, custy are more than happy ;D

but if i can do better i like to know what and how

i use just chemcial and wfp.

Some of the formed pieces on connies are either fibre glass are recycled upvc and tfr will not remove ingrained dirt for this I use thick bleach I just dip my brush in and apply rinse of with tap water after a scrub , then rinse with pure.
