Hi Guys,
I don't normally do tea towel cleaning on a regular basis for large companies however we have been asked by a few lately.
What is the normal rate for tea towel exchange. collect dirty ones, wash them and take them back in.
I could easily work out a price for us but I just wanted to see what other companies are charging as they might be charging a lot less or possibly a lot more.
regards
Dave

We only do this on a few contracts and I normally charge between 27p and 52p per towel to have them cleaned and give the money to the cleaner who takes them home to wash them - I'll supply them periodically at whatever they cost plus 20% or so.

Thanks for the info. Guess not many companies do tea towel cleaning on here.
The forum seems to be very quite lately... everyone must be busy.
Thanks
Dave

Hi Pristine
In London most cleaning companies are charging £1 a tea towel

You can get new ones for that!

Thanks for the info there D Woods.
I have noticed that companies are charging a fair amount for what is actually involved. However it still has to be worth it or no point in actually doing it.

We charge .75p each as they have to be dried and then ironed...it all cost's

Most of the contractors that I know charge £1 a tea towel and they give the cleaners £0.50p
