Title: Merlin Filter Change

I know its been asked before but any special tips on this job. Just changed all 3 of mine and tds is coming out at 38 which is not as low as I would like, its 302 going in

I used to have a merlin and found that it was easy for the rubber o rings not to be seated properly when a filter or membrane was changed, check them carefully and that they are not damaged, Simon

Before changing filters it was 65. Little rubbers are fine but i think i will take it all apart tomorrow and lube it up with lubricant grease, that might help, I know i have had it at less than 20 before

Have you changed the carbon filter also?

as the water going in high 38 is good as merlin only brings it down so many it, does not give you 00 tds unless your water is lower than that going in, 30 odd is ok i can only get my water down to 26 , let the resin bring it down to 00

Yep pre filter also changed. I know 30 odd is not disasterous but I know I have had it in low 20's before so figured I must of cocked up somewhere whilst replacing filters.
