Ettore is very good but it's expensive & chews up on the ends easily.

I use Pulex standard ( also called pulex hard) & find it's great. ;)

I use Unger Egotech and they've served me well for a good few years now.  I also prefer a cheap rubber like pulex and I change them regularly.

Gone are the days on this forum where old timers would explain the correct technique for wringing out scrim to detail with and inform us of the proper use of the rats tail (is that what it's called?).

They said window cleaning 'the propa way' was a dying art.

makes no odds, ettore, unger they all do the same thing, it is the user that makes the difference

but I use unger and pulex soft, but equally happy with my twenty year old ettore that I gave away to my mrs

a top squeegee

As for the squeegee- Wagtail Flipper, super fast, super easy, the best trad innovation for years! ;)

For me a brass Squeegee with a Pulex rubber!

Each to their own - try a few different ones and see what YOU like the best - especially if you are going to do the job for many years to come

I remember when I found out what a dog eared channel was. I thought it was the greatest window cleaning idea ever.  :D
