Title: Do soffits have grills / vent on?
Post by: Andrew44 on April 08, 2011, 11:04:41 am
Seen a few soffits with what looks like a grill on.  Could this be a grill / vent and if so could water get in if you clean them (with brush upside down)

Yes, water does go in and leaves dirty black blobs under soffits. When youve finished washing down, go around with a cloth on brush and wipe off  ;D

Cheers

Can water get in the roof from cleaning soffits?

Is it a grill on the soffits or air vent?

Water could get in if you blast hard enough. Its an air vent for the loft space
