Thanks to all that helped getting me out of my shell as it were in regard to canvassing. I went out last night knocked on 30 doors at first shackin like a shixin dog.
I walked away with 5 new custies so thankyou all...

good stuff M8 .. now stick a leaflet / note 5 doors either side of the new customers when u clean them even if u have canvassed them already ... some people are slow to make up mind.

Cheers chaps.... Update....

I went out for 1.30hrs this morning and got another one also did a gutter facia and soffit quote and they said we will let you know.
So thanks and keep up the good encourgement.

Darren... make a spreadsheet up of your new customers...

name   address   freq  price   yearly price   total

That way you can look at your progress over the year. I started this on 1st Jan and have added £2200 to my yearly income so far

Darren, Ive had a result today too.

£153 in 3hrs canvassing-well chuffed

And now only got 1 custy who owes me now after a collecting purge

keep it up!
Canvassing can be hard but very rewarding!
I have someone delivering my leaflets and tell him to keep his eyes open for dirty windows and streets with lots of dirty windows and then go back and knock,it produces great results with less effort plus you can still get other work from your leaflets too!
 He has informed me tonight of 5 target streets to door knock with approxmitely 150 houses to knock,if i can get 15 of them i will be very very happy!
