Title: Refining round

Getting to stage now where work is just starting to slip behind by a day or two.

This is during the good weather so winter would be even more behind.

Going to do price increases at start of May. This may loose me a few but will be earning more per day.

How did you guys refine your round ?

Guessing its an ongoing process but any tips / ideas from the bigger lads welcome.

Looked at employing but nightmare so just staying as me for now.

Do you ever say no to new customers ??

I take a day out each year to look at my round and see where i can move round to make it more proffitable. I find this is good after winter as your round can slip.

start by trying to put round into smaller rounds, jib off any one that has messed you around with money or access or complained bout silly things or where you have too travel a bit of distance to do an average priced job which you could prob get on for same amount nearer too more compact work

I have built my round into days:

WK1D1 week 1 day 1 to WK8D7...

this I find makes it easier to spot issues, spaces etc...
