Title: Paint splatters
Post by: *Derek* on April 05, 2011, 08:43:18 pm
A good customer of mine painted there house and there is specks of paint on frames. Frames are timber look pvc/aluminium..

I have tried oil flo and white spirits, Has anyone else a suggestion?

Would nitromors be too strong?

Thanks!

T-cut, or a more abrasive paint cutting compound. If it emulsion paint then you could also try meths, that does dissolve emulsion but it does take some rubbing.

anything like paint on frames i leave it up to the customer to get off.its just too much hassle in the greater scheme of things.i will scrape paint off windows.if its really bad i will charge extra for a regular customer.

Scraper?
Sorry just reread the original post, didnt realise it was on frames...scraper=poo idea ;D
Would leave it up to customer, wouldnt entertain it myself in fear of doing more damage....just my opinion like...
