Title: Glue on vinyl floor
Post by: Floyd on April 05, 2011, 04:33:14 pm
I have just been called to a site where a number of new flats have been finished.  In each flat there is vinyl flooring.  Whoever fitted the flooring has let the glue dry everywhere and he has walked it through everywhere.  What is the easiest way to clean it up?  It looks terrible just mopped

Is it definitely vinyl? If it's linoleum and you try the above it will cause considerable damage.

Try glue solvent in a spray can.

liquid lighter fuel. I picked this tip up from doing builders cleans years ago. Rub lightly with cotton wool, does not need vigorous rubbing.

Tried many different products and methods and can't beat Goo Glue, we buy straight from Amazon and always have it in the "toolbags"
