Title: cleaning an aridex after use
Post by: creighton foyle on April 05, 2011, 03:09:48 pm
just tried out my second hand aridex for the first time and i used prochems fibre shampoo in it which i am told needs to be flushed out properly or it will leave a residue in the machine.  anyway i emptied the shampoo solution out of the tank and filled with clean cold water , i then turned on the brush to foam and run the machine for about a minute until it stopped making foam but i am not convinced i have cleaned out the brush pipes properly so any advice on both using and cleaning out the machine would be appreciated.

Do you have any m-power or nemesis?  some of this at normal dilution washed through should help clear out any foamy residues.  I'd recirculate it back into the tank (if possible?) for a while, then empty it and flush with fresh again.
