we been doing this job for a year now and carried it monthly internal clean, we cant get to the top windows and they are looking pretty poor now, anyone got any ideas of how to reach them?
have tried wizard magnetic squegee but it just falls off
heres some pics

and some more

when i say top windows i mean the higher window internal windows of the ground floor
-
get them to have the displays moved! sod messing around with that!
-
Removing the displays isnt really an option as they are bolted in and each sewing machine has spot lights fitted
-
As far as I can see - without removing those displays any attempt at cleaning those inner tops will look awful and that is how you need to explain it to the manager.
If they really want them done then they are going to have to move stuff to let you gain access.
-
Interesting thread but I think you`ve been stitched up there.

we are just cleaning the windows we can access at present for an amount im happy with but would charge extra for the higher windows if i can think of a method to reach them

You're a right sew and sew!

Can't you have your applicator/squeegee on an angled gooseneck type arrangement with a very short bit of pole and do the tops from where you stand doing the bottoms?

nope, the glass has a film on it making it tricky to squegee even by hand, i would be left with lots of smears if attempted with pole
-
damp scrim draped over a 14"dry applicator with a wagtail angle arm or 2 to bring the angle around
-
do you do the lower insides with the wizard magnetic squegee ? or lean through somehow with an applicator and squegee ?
-
Sell the job on ;D
-
try standin on a pop crate.should give you the height you need to clean top panes
-
I don't know why you're bothering, nobody else would. If you can't get access, you can't clean them.
I'd just go off to the next straight forward job. If they want them cleaned that badly, then they'll move it.
Do you like a challenge or something?
Since going wfp I begrudge even getting my ladders off let alone cleaning that lot!

outsides only im afraid if it was me doing the job.some jobs are just too much hassle!and that is defo one of em!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
