can anybody give me a review of these new brushes from gardiners?
ive got 2 supalites and they ve been fine but ive just bought an aqua-daptor and it seems to make my slx pole "top heavy" now.it almost feels like ive got a vikan brick on the end with the supalite!! :( :(
so im thinking of getting one of these brushes to make it lighter again.
can you get them to fit on a normal plastic adjustable gooseneck?
the slx ive used for 2 full days work without the aqua-daptor and its been great.
this morning i used it to clean my windows and a few neighbours WITH the aqua-daptor and i experimented with using it at awkward angles and at full stretch and it really made a difference but not in a good way!! :( :(
it really felt a lot heavier and it bent the slx section more at full stretch.
i might even do away with the aqua-daptor altogether!ill give it a few days and see if i get used to it! ;D ;D

i was going to ask the same question as im in the need for a new brush.. apparently you can fit them to the normal plastic angle connection by selecting this when ordering the brush for extra £2.00

Daz,i use an Xtreme and it came with the 'normal' socket on it. I only put my dt mono back on now for roof/upvc cleans as it now feels too heavy. If you get an Xtreme you won't be disappointed

To b fair the extream look more like a toothbrush than a window cleaners equipment to look at they are disappointing but to use they are great on regular work really light which is what we want,a bit pricey but that's what u pay for the best

I got the Extreme & to be honest I wasn't expecting that much from it. I knew it would be light & very good in certain circumstances.
However, it has exceeded all my expectations & is far, far better than I expected! I love it, it really does make a hell of a difference with less weight on the end of the pole. The bristles have a lovely action, not too hard, not too soft & the splay is just right.
I ditched my normal Super-Lites & now use this for just about everything! It makes a huge difference to windows at angles too.
I use mine with a plastic angle adaptor & swivel. ;)

does anyone use the xtreme for first cleans?

I have BUT I don't clean the top frame, no problem.
However, you do have to be realistic Lee. It's a superb maintenance brush & makes a huge difference with it's weight saving. But, look at it, it's probably not the best choice for manky first cleans if you're cleaning all the frames/sills etc also. ;D

I have been using the extreme wide brush and am not impressed as the brush bows hence not much of the brush is cleaning the window, i have contacted gardiners who said this will happen and i just need to bend it back the other way :-\ , no problems though as they have agreed to a refund as for me its not practical having this brush on the end of a sixty foot pole then having to lower it to straighten the brush, but as mentioned they are happy to give me a refund, if they decide to modify/strengthen the brush i will happily buy another

Extreme is a very good brush - better than it looks and I use it for everything.

We find extreem is excellent for all cleans including first cleans. I would highly recomend getting one. :)

Love the extreme, but have to agree with Steve UK on the wide version, mine is in the shed gathering dust after 2 days of use!!
