Post by: buggy on April 03, 2011, 04:34:39 pm
do you need to use a rotary nylon brush or is it ok to put the pad straight under the drive plate, and which bonnets do you recommend, i have looked at the looped soil absorbent and the thinner microfiber ones, but dont no what  the stiff nylon brush is about...thanks lads the BUGSTA.... :o

Why not buy one of each and try them out?

I don't really do alot of this but i'm sure someone will be along soon to answer this one.

Regards
Steve.

The brush is for agitation, shouldn't be too stiff make sure it's suitable for carpets you may have a floor cleaning brush. I pre-spray, agitate, lightly spray pad with pre spray for lubrication and bonnet. If it's really mucky the pad gets treated to a bucket of hot solution and wrung out. Clean about 20 sq mtr passing quickly then flip the pad for some slow passes. Then a quick buff with a dry pad (which then goes in the bucket and so on) works for me.

Paul,
Which pads did you buy. Have you tried them yet?
