Title: Bumper having 8 weeks off

Now you know why i have bought wfp,going in hospital tues afternoon to have hip replacement wed,so be having 6-8 weeks off, carnt afford any more time then that,round sorted,im bricking it i know loads of customers have had it done,ill let you know how i get on if im still here :o

Sorry to hear of your problem.
On a positive note, WFP should be a major help once you get going again.

You might recover quicker than you think mate.
I thought I read somewhere they now use a new procedure (Minimally Invasive) which leaves less scarring and where in most cases they have you doing physio the day after the op.

 ;D yes if you live in usa they still butchers here and way behind usa in hip replcement id wish they could do it here,

Bumper, what do they do with your old hip?  

Can you ask for it to take home with you?  You could mount it on a nice bit of varnished wood and it would make an interesting ornament for your desk.

If you don't want it, I'd have it.  I'll give you £20 for it!

your worst then work mates, they all ready what to know who has round  if it goes wrong,and what to do with all my carp gear and bait boat,and they said they sell all my new wfp on ebay coz its a bag of crap :o :)

you will be allrite.  i know a few folk with new hips and no doubt theyre doing them day- in- day out all week long at your hosp.

Take it easy but also give yourself a project that you can do whilst you are not so mobile. It may  help once you are off.

im the only windy on here to have  hip replacement  im only 50 ,its going up ladders for past 27 years going gym when i was young squating 300 pound plus all the weight ive piled on and falling  of ladder and landing on your feet it. :)
