If you're happy with extracta why change?

I can vouch for the Alltec and Cleansmart machines as I've used both and have been very happy with service etc. It's worth knowing the parts inside can be got from many sources. The Prochem range are popular and they keep selling.

Start with your budget and buy to suit, more powerful equipment will make you more efficent, enhanced technique and experience will make you a better cleaner so don't spend unless your business is ready for it.

Good luck!

If you can, go for a triple vac. They are all as good as each-other I presume, I use the Alltec Triple Vac 600psi which I really am impressed with. I wouldn't buy another, because I don't think I'll ever need to. They are a solid bit of kit and easy to work on.

Another machine to consider is the Scorpion, people who have them tend to swear by them and the after sales they get. They are quite simple machines which means they are nice and easy to work on and maintain. As long as you look after it, these machines seem to last forever too in the right hands....

I don't have any experience of any other triple vac, so I really couldn't make an informed opinion on them....

Mine is capable of hard floor cleaning. I believe they do a 1200psi model but that will be a twin vac I would have thought.

The Alltec and Airflex turbo are designed for it and it should be possible with 500-600 psi, but it's only entry level floor cleaning. If you are serious go for a 1200 psi machine, Colin is right it's a twin vac.
