We all know who's the quickest but who is the slowest? No prizes, but how long does it take you to clean a 3 bed semi with no conservatory, I reckon know more than 15 minutes from pulling up to leaving would be about average
-
sounds about right quicker on some of the dead easy ones. and maybe slower on a few
-
Im pretty sure I have had Britains number 1, 2 and 3 all work for me ;)
-
I am not entirely sure who the slowest window cleaner in the land is, but I think that the one that works for me may well be a close runner up......... ::)
10-15 mins ish would be ok for me, maybe more if they were in. It would be properly clean with doors frames, and a quick once over the garage door. Regulars only, first cleans and one off's take longer and cost more.
wfp all round if out, maybe trad patio doors and kitchen
added: Doh!!! cleancare beat me to it

15 minutes. Sometimes a bit less. Sometimes a bit more. Depends on what end of the day and if it's a comfortable day or 90F degree heat. Depends if they are in or out too sometimes.
-
Yep if they are in and come out to yap we've had it!
-
26.45 mins
-
£13.50

Britains slowest thats an easy one .... its Graham Proctor "the window Doctor" lives in Manchester little village called Weatherfield ;D .... however he has invested in a new piece of equipment as seen him last nite with an unger squeegee.

is this 15 mins wfp or trad or both

I did a house a while back ago, said they had some scruff turn up asking so they thought ok, it was only a fiver...it was a small 3 bed with conserv. They said he was there about 3 hours. Having a fAg, sweating, and a sit down...SOD that lol...if anyone deserves this award, he did!

Surely we have a winner

I always thought I was the slowest! I've even taught others to clean windows and they are faster than me!
It takes me about 35 minutes hour to do a 3 bedroom semi, probably about 25 to clean and 10 to check that all is well (I am a little obsessive when it comes to making sure that I haven't made any mistakes).
Guess how long it took me to write this! ;D
John.

5 minutes at the most!!
-
Frank is the slowest by far, he works 5 days a week and only earns £250
-
my idea of a semi detached house is bay window top and bottom a window above front door side bathroom and lower kitchen then two top windows at rear then patio doors ofrench below £12 = 30 mins its the bays that take the time :) petemg

take me less than 15 Stu as i would refuse to do that front bedroom with the crappy Bairns scarf in the window ;)

I took over a load of houses that a window cleaner (well a gardener mostly) in his late 60s let go due to him retiring. I reckon he'd take about 90 minutes to clean a detached 3 bedroomed house; he was extremely fussy and did a spanking job. He charged them about £7 each too.
A few of these customers have tried to give me trouble, and I've suggested to two of them that we part company (I'm charging £12 to £15 for the same job) due to problems with them trying to change the cleaning frequency on me, but I'm slowly knocking them into shape. ;D

takes me less as well including that window ;D
-
stu it would take me 5 mins trad. with my do one window miss one window
technique lol

It depends on how dirty the windows are plus the size of them and the type. Where i live, if the windows are filthy old Georgian ones it will take a lot longer than 15 mins for a 3 bed semi.
