Title: Public Liability to include Sub contractors

Ok guys - just updating our insurance and we are now going to use some one on a sub contract basis,
been onto the insurance co. and been quoted £600 - now thats triple than my current PL insurance.

any1 else have PL which includes subby ? - if so, is £600 about right, or should i be looking elsewhere?

tell them to stick it up their arse... have u tried simplybusiness insurance?

not yet, hence the post to see who/what/where i could get a better deal.

Hi Darran, if youre using subbies wouldnt they have their own insurance?

Thats is true and they have however we have been informed that should something go wrong we are liable
not the subby and therefore our PL insurance needs to cover us + any sub contractor.   :(

try stephen ayre at G.T.Insurance, he is very helpful, his  number is 0115 9394747, we have started going to him now as helpful and competetive, all our vans are with stevel,
