Just started out with WFP and I'm really having problems cleaning a window above a garage roof. The garage extends 12 ft off the window. Would you clean from side or from front of garage? Would work of ladder? Whats the best position to clean from?

Sometimes its easier to tackle it in 2 hits from both sides, if you can clean just over half from one side then rinse well, and then clean from the other side cleaning just over half again so you dont miss any of the middle then rinsing well again. thats what i do.
Alternatively if you have a longer pole adjust brush angle and do it face on, whichever method is less strenuous.

Thanks. I tries it face on but the weight was too much with no control. I have slx poles but even as light as these are it was bouncing all over the place at brush end. I ended up doing it from the side as you said but I couldn't get access from the other side as next doors garage was there so I did it all from one side. 3 windowpanes - nearest was fine middel difficult and furthest nightmare but it seemed easier to do it from side than face on. Would be easier if I can get access from both sides as you say.
For windows above con roof do you generally clean from face on or sides, or is it 50/50.

for me generally it is done side on 99% but for garage roofs I usually just go up the ladder and clean by hand

As you say there is no rule just whatever method is best for that particular job. Over time you will know how to set about every job. where to start and what angle to take things from ( :o ;D)

Thanks
I think side on is what I'll go for. I'm probably just too weak to clean face on over full length garage roof :-\

I use small pair of step to give me more hight from the side ???

Yes thanks I'll av ago with that.

3 tred steps will help you get the right angle for this, or faster from the side if pos of course
