Thats right people, my project, I want a window cleaner.com went live on heart fm this morning and I just sold the very first customer who is 30 miles outside of our covered area!
Here are the details.
it was a 3 bed semi priced at £15 every 6 weeks
The customer requested facia cleaning on the first clean at £65.00
so the total first clean value is £80.00 and the customer was sold for £27.00
Which was 1.5x the clean + £5 for the additional service. that is now a regular customer for Nigel at clean glass uk ltd and is worth £194.00 to him over the next 12 months.

Well done its a great start keep it up and dont forget me. ;D markodare@btinternet.com east coast based

What happens if the customer cancels after the first clean? Will Nigel have the customer replaced or his money back if its not his fault that they just decide they don't want to use him anymore?

Yeah, it'd be awful; Nigel would only have made £53. He'd deserve his money back for that kind of shoddy dealing.

well spoted vin.
The answer is no, there are no refunds or replacements, after the transaction the customer is his to make of what he will.
Yes I have recieved all the emails sent to me by people wanting to join around the country. Fact is I have has so many (over 70 now) I havnt had the time to respond, they are on file untill a relevant time.
The remaining spots for today are 17.35 and 23.56 of heart fm 102.7 we have also had a few spots on Gold am and dab but they have finished for today. I hope that over the next few days there will be a build up of work

just heard the advert, its clear and to the point, from what i was told when thinking of having a radio advert that it takes a few weeks for for it to sink in to the listener...hope it goes well mate, if you do decide to advertise further south please let me know
-

If you are getting the add on for a fiver then thats all ok on that particular job, as if they do cancel after the first clean your still quids in. I was more interested in the so called regular £15 job for £22.50, but now the question has been answered. I am getting a lot of enquiries at the moment now the sun has come out, and quite a few only want a one off. So the timing of the radio adverts are good, but it will be interesting to see in a few months how many of the new customers will be regular.

I'm not knocking Lee at all, and i have just read back to check to see if i was? I think it's great that he is giving this a go, and i hope it all works out for all parties. I was merely asking a question that has been answered, and then was interested in seeing what the outcome was in a few months down the line, which no doubt we will hear about on here.

Lee,
How much per day does it cost you to play your adverts? Radio advertising isn't cheap?
I know it's only the first day, but today must have been a big loss? You made £27.50 selling a job, but what are the costs to you of getting that job and selling it on?
I'm not knocking the idea at all... I hope it goes well.

Gosh Niceandclean it wasnt directed at you, sorry by no means was just talking in general. Not directed at you at all, sorry if it came accross like that

its true it is expensive but hmm im guessing £100 a day each month that might wash its face.
he might get lucky one day 10 new customers each day that would be good
good luck lee skys the limit

One customer and everyones cock a hoop !!!! Better get your skates on Lee, Gordons started in Scotland . He may well be working his way down south !!! I can't wait for you guys to expand further and do well, i'm gonna sign up with one of you it'll save me messing about asking for recomendations, doing the odd knocking session and the like. And as a current thread says its only 15 mins to do a three bed semi. I can see we're all gonna be rich guys. I think its a really good idea.
-
i thought project x was for "down south" in certain areas, lee are you saying it covers nationally
cheers bob
-
lee is it proffesional companies you aim to use if this goes national?
if so how do u aim to monitor this?
-
I think Lee does not have to 'prove/explain' his 'project' to anyone. His past and present Window cleaning success says it all.
He is trying something different !!I think EVERY one should be giving support as he is trying to 'help/generate more business' for us all.
I am sure the window cleaner who has bought the first 'customer' generated from the project is more than happy.
Come on lads ::)
-
Great to hear you have got it going Lee, I for one always support and admire all achievers in life.
Well done and I whish you all the best.
P.S. don’t forget me too :)
