Sunglasses . Do you wear designer sunglasses for work, how much have you paid for them.
-
I keep on doing stuff like leaving sunglasses on top of my car and driving off.
I buy cheap ones, given that the life expectancy of a pair of glasses is about two weeks for me.
-
I use copied Oakleys. 2 pairs for a tenner.
-
Wouldn't fit over my Cortina headlight / beer bottle specs! ;D

I tend to buy cheaper ones myself because using them for work tends to break them sooner.
As they are an important work safety item, I do put them through the books too. I only use them for work though.

you can get a decent pair of polarised sunglasses for £20.great the ones ive got as there quite light to see through but really stops the glare esp when the suns just above the roof line.

3D ones from the pub, makes the windows look great! ::)

I work in some seaside towns, and the places are full of cheap sunglasses, which is just as well because I am always leaving them behind. Last year I got through about 8 pairs.
Designer shades are wasted on some people........ ;)

IMPORTANT WARNING!
Buy cheap sunglasses and you can get into trouble.
Fake sunglasses may well filter out visible light and not UV. Normally, your eyes narrow in bright light, restricting the amount of UV entering. With a pair of ultra cheap/fake sunglasses that don't stop UV, your eyes respond to the visible light, so they react by opening up your pupil, letting in unfiltered UV in great quantities. That will probably lead to cataracts.
There are plenty of cheap but correctly functioning sunglasses in Boots. How much do you think your Chinese rip-off merchant/ebayer/local market trader cares about what they are selling?
Your choice.

Oakley straights with Oakley perscription lenses, very comfortable and wear them all day long in the bright days................. BUT...........................I have just got my eyes tested and need new lenses put in. To get Oakley to put in their lenses it has cost me £165!!! :'(
I could get my local Vision express to put their lenses in for half the price but only Oakley do the lenses that fit properly (problem is is that the glasses are 'wrap around'). Even Vision express said their lenses wont fit properly and they cant guarantee they would stay in.
The fustrating thing is to buy my glasses brand new with non perscription lenses are only £150!

I buy my prescription sunglasses from the USA. The cost of Ray Bans with prescription lenses was less than the cost of the basic Ray Bans in the UK. It's four years since I did it - I think it was with eyeglasses.com. Took about ten days.

No, and I'm not sure they they fit lenses into frames not bought from them.

Ijust checked their website and they do fit lenses into old frames.
I'm waiting for my normal specs to be sent back from www.glassesdirect.co.uk. Such good value, I got my eyes tested in boots for a fiver (special offer that was in the paper), sent of my Rayban 'Geek chic' specs to glassesdirect at a cost of £45. Just waiting for them to come back next week.
If I went to my normal Vision express it would have cost be £20 for an eye test and £140 for new lenses to be fitted. I saved £110.........shame I had to put it towards getting my Oakley done at £165!!
