Post by: Wc Solutions on March 30, 2011, 06:22:05 pm
for a builders clean at a pub - not a new build but a full refit of current pub.

took 2 cleaners 7 hours, so 14 hours in total.

we have a price in mind, just interesting to see ...

inside and out of course! 7 hours? bit slow....is there 2 stories? what did you have on the window? paint
if so that is a pain but  charge      £240

I refer to a previous post-"a bit slow"- how can anyone say that if they do not know what the job was like, size etc. I have followed some right messy blind builders so there can be no telling on time. Anyhow rant over...........
£250 around here -Yorkshire-would be about right

Ye ok sounds like you did a lot in 14 man hours, depends how bad the clean was of course. Sounds more like £300 now!! Perhaps more if they did not know how long it took but am always mindful that anyone watching might question £20 plus per hour -per cleaning operative. Some window cleaning can pay £30 per hour but I take care not to discuss this with customers. Just my opinion- I personally am happy with £130 per day for one man as I'm in this long term and hope to always keep customers. There is a massive difference in the South and North with prices for most jobs however it does depend on the type of work.
