Title: do storage tanks need too be a special quality
Post by: mike henderson on September 28, 2005, 09:36:46 pm
Hi everyone, i live in the rural mid west USA, where there are lots of farm supply stores that sell holding tanks of all sizes.  I was wondering if i need to buy a special tank quality for pure water holding . ie a tank where the water is not contaminated by the plastic of the tank.

Is this an issue or not :-\ I would appreciate your imput.

   Thanks Missouri mike

Plastic should not realy contaminate as the same containers are usually used to transport food stuffs

Same as Dai

2 times 50 gallon rain butts althougth the first lot had to go down the drain to get rid of all the dust etc.

Cheers
