I was asked this today , what would you have answered?

Its a weak cleaning agent and it leaves alot of sticky residue in the carpet fibre which accelerates re-soiling.
-
...and they are relatively expensive.
-
Its the same as the machine....under powered and over priced & both do a crap job
-
How do you know have you tried them.
Which magazine recommends diluted washing up liquid as best in test from memory.

I dont think it is the detergents that are the problem but the machines that are rubbish.

I know because I owned a Vax and bottles of AAA. I used to have to clean my sofa and carpets at least every 3 months thanks to the rapid re-soiling....
I have also used a RD with outstandingly BAD results.
If you ever get the oportunity to try out a RD or a Vax, take it, then you can speak to your customers from experience about them... And "Ditch" the RD in the canal on the way back to B&Q... ;D
