Has anybody on here used Facebook to advertise you're services ?
I dont mean a "page" where you're friends can "like" your page...I have one of those.
I've noticed a few local businesses from my town (taxi's, takeaways) etc with a highlighted link.
Thought I'd give it a go...followed the step by step instructions, end result looked quite impressive and was told would target 350,000 potential customers and the "fee" would be approx 77 pence per click or less.
(You can stipulate how much u wanna roughly spend per week).
Thought I'd ask on here before I took the plunge ! ???

Your competitors could click..click and click you out of bussiness? :o
I wouldnt do it. Thats my 5p.

I wouldn't pay per click on FB lots of people flicking through when bored could cost you a fortune. We have a free business page had 1 x £200 job from it.

I did it some time back and probably spent £100.00 on it without a job.

Just make a facebook profile like a normal one only use your business info.
Facebook really don like you doing this but the sheer amount of work from it makes it worth while.
Add people you know, then all suggested freinds and freinds of freinds, Before you know it you have hundreds of possible customers that you can advertise to by updating your staus with special deals and offers.
Its a full flyer campaign in seconds! Reaching alot of local people and best of all costs absolutley nothing!!!
