Title: Water 002
Post by: ascjim on March 28, 2011, 04:54:14 pm
Hi all, ive just brought a 11L DI vessel.

When i 1st tested it the water was coming out 000ppm, but now its coming out 002ppm,
Its still new and haven't actually produced any water apart from me testing it.

Do i need to flash out the remaining 11L of water left in the vessel before i can get 000ppm?

My tap water is 128ppm.

Thanks

try giving the vessel a good shake to open up new channels in the resin.

shouldnt be 002 if not used but thats still fine for window cleaning tho!

Most vessels now a days are "directional". Make sure your flow through it is in the right direction.

Gave it a shake and tightened the lid. 000 :D

It also depends how fast the water runs through the resin - too fast and it doesn't have time to purify it properly.
