Bin the old resin.
Empty the vessel of old resin. Flush out with water. Fill with new resin to about 4/5ths full or just below the vessel shoulder. Then fill with water to just under the neck & insert riser tube/head.
BE VERY CAREFUL NOT to cross thread the vessel head!!!!! It may take numerous attempts to line it up correctly, but make sure you do.
Hope that helps. ;)

Also, before you screw the head back on just make sure the thread in the vessel isn't full of resin beads.

There's a couple of 'how to' clips on You Tube for refilling resin, that's how i learned.
I use a traffic cone as a funnel ;)

Didn't know you had to put water in before putting top back on.Is this what i should do?
-
why do you have to put water in first?
-
I had same problem last week now its 0001,i put it down to letting it roll about in my car,i think you must have them stood upright, not rolling about

It helps the resin to move about more easily so that the riser can push into the beads.

Spot on.
It makes it MUCH easier to get the riser tube back in & in line as the resin mass is suspended in the water. ;)
