Hi Guys,
New to this forum, have worked with my uncle for many years and now branching out to start my own company in the next few months. I wondered if anyone had any advice on the best machine to get with a £2500 budget roughly.
Any advice would be good as I have looked at a lot and been on prochem training course and will be booking quite a few more before I actually start. I have looked at a Scorpion, Powr flite and tru-vox so far as well as the prochem ones.
Thanks in anticipation of your advice.

take a look at the airflex from cleansmart it is at least the equal of the scorpion and looks a lot nicer excellent service from cleansmart as is the service from solutions who supply the scorpion.

I would also look at the Airflex range from Cleansmart, seem to be very good value machines

Alltec also have a fairly comprehensive range of machinery depending on the size you can manage.
Consider the following:
Weight and Manouverability
Size & Type of vehicle for transportation.
A tricky one but what type of work you feel you will be doing in a year or so.
Difficult to judge when first starting out but some people I speak to have connections who are letting agents or own a chain of pubs in such and such a city and are looking to serve them so the smallest machine may be handy for loads of flats due to portability but if you are cleaning pubs every night/morning you might want something with a bit more about it.
(The above may be the worlds longest sentence....then again maybe not)

Thanks so far guys, I iwllbe getting a transit connect or a boblo and am a faily big lad so lifting should not be a massive problem. It would be nice ot have the option of truck mounting it should I need to so something with the option to power up to higher psi would be good.
All taken on board and thanks again.

The alltec is a good machine but a little on the heavy side if your not going to van mount it mate.
Maybe ask a cleaner in your area and to go and have a look at whay they use, just an idea mind.

The Airflex is very good i have the triple vac and has already been said is the equal at least as good as the Scorpian, i also use the Magma inline heater which is excellent, service is second to none as well, customer service being a priority.

and dont forget you get a free place on the two day carpet and upholstery cleaning course when you buy an airflex ( i believe some other suppliers offer this incentive as well) it is taken by derek bolton and what he does'nt know is'nt worth knowing.

I'm getting very good at the 'snatch' when I'm putting my Advance back to bed! It's not about strength, it's all about technique, there is a knack to it ;)
