They can`t help what comes through their doors.
And I think Darran deserves a bit of credit for the little plants in front of the windows on his leaflets.

-
Why not employ him to clean all your work at 4 quid a pop? Come on guys!!! 8) ;D
-
I got him to do mine and as it was a 1st visit he knocked a pound off, he even did my large conny roof bless him as it took him 4 hours and he only charged me NINE BOB ;D ;D ;D
I did feel I ought to give him more but I suddenly remembered what the leaflet said
why pay more
when you can pay less
already booked him again for next year ;D
-
by the time he pays for good insurance he would prob break even!

I had some plonker put a flyer through a customers letter box with £7 written on the front of it.
I charge £22 for this property! ???
-
Just so you guys know this guy dropped a load of leaflets a year ago and picked up work and has been doing it for a year, this leaflet was obviously aimed to get more work. How he manages to make a living is beyond me, benefits and dole spring to mind.
Simon.
-
bumper comes to mind, must be on some kind of benefits dornt think hes register Self-Employed to taxman, just going to give taxman a ring and register him. ;D
-
At 4 quid a pop he will never pay taxes remember he has to earn 6000 to pay tax.
Its no wonder folks think we windies are brainless.
-
Friend from Ipswich just sent me this.
-
I know you all laugh at the first leaflet as being cheap and nasty looking, but I did really well building a round up with just a cheap and nasty leaflet. ok £4 seems low but he may be targeting small 2 bed terraced and the like and you can rattle through 5 or 6 per hour if not more once up to speed, so he can make a decent living at them prices, and if it is bigger property's he will learn the hard way and put up the prices.

Friend from Ipswich just sent me this.
one of my customers showed me one of those and i have seen their van driving in ips , a big newish tranny it is .but never seen them cleaning
-
Hot water as well.
-
They might just be cleaning the glass ???? not frames doors etc!! Sounds about right for 'UP NORTH' but ipswich???????
-
You may be right, then they try and upsell.
-
the tranny has 3 sets of ladders on its roof, all biggish long sized. i bleve i saw the man looking at a clipboard in the tranny as i went into a co-op to buy food last december .
-
Bobby P - isnt their van currently on ebay ? - could be wrong so appogises if incorrect.
Everyone had to start somewhere, they will either pack up or slowly build up and work on getting the pricing right.
i find it hard to comprihend a quote of £5 for a house + conny as you would not price a 4/5 bed detached at this ???
ok for large estates i suppose
DarrAn..........................
or is it................
Darren or Darrin or Darin or Daren or even Daran but not Duran Duran 8)
-
i havent looked on ebay, but from memory its a grey blue tranny (not high roof) and i saw it always driving round edge of town (not on the council bits)and it looked very commercial(big ladders) . at those prices on that leaflet theyd have easily raked in work but if the prices were only a sprat to catch a mackerel it then would take a very smooth talker to convert up .
