Title: Van broken down today at work
Post by: Crystal-clear on March 25, 2011, 04:09:01 pm
Its just the clutch been quoted £200 to get it done , but i was hoping to get a 230 connect, if i spend £200 i might as well spend the £150 for the cambelt too, then it will need some welding to pass mot i dont really wana spend £450-£500 on this van it aint worth £800.

i need a van urgently does anyone know where i can get a 230 connect with decent mileage for about the 3k mark?

i might have no choice but to spend the £200 to get the clutch back by the time i get the van switch things over it could be mid week i would have lost 2 days work....

Whats the sensible thing to do £200 for a clutch is cheap from my local he can fix it tomorrow and im back on the glass or buy a van fast when you buy a van fast you might make a mistake and end up paying more, not to mention i will most likely loose 2-3 days work while i put protecta cote and switch things over ;/
