hi all ive been out doing first cleans today and god i ache think that clx 27 might be a little big. :-\
admittedly they are quite big houses with rotten windows cobwebs all over them but i have only done 6 houses and i am out of water.
i have just popped home for a refill but i have done about 5-6 hundred liters.
is this right or am i going a bit ott i haven't got an aqua-dapter yet but i am doing all tops then unplug hose retract pole reconnect ect so im not splashing it around everywhere.
thanks in advance

after reading that - you need help mate.
speak to another wc in your area that has wfp and get him to show you.
clx 27 is light!!!!!!! try a alloy pole then you will know what heavy is....
im sure there must be a few on here that can show you....

You don't have to have an Aquadaptor.
You could use a tap on the polehose or stop the flow between windows by "pinching" the pole hose.
Fan jets from Gardiners in your brush will also help you use less water.
Speeding up your cleaning action will also help you use less water.

i don't really know any in my area.
any suggestions where i'm going wrong have i got the varistream up to high on setting 4?
i know i am using alot of water but they are first cleans and the windows where filthy and what i have done is clean them all twice start on top frames then side frames then sills then glass and once done say top rear go back to first top rear and start again?

right im off out to Finnish these last 2 houses i will catch up on here later

as long as you are happy with the results then dont worry.get it right the 1st time and plain sailing the 2nd time.

your water usage is quite high, on my first cleans there were 2 of us and we were getting through 600L in a day.
The clx is light compared to fiber glass poles, that is what is started with, but i soon changed to s 22slx, it was so much lighter, but you do get used to using a pole, if this is your first day, then you will ache whatever pole you use, you body just needs time to adjust to it.

I use setting 2 on varistream on all work, sometimes been on 3 for filthy stuff but never higher then that

im not moaning about the pole its a great pole would rather use that than the 45 foot ionics pole i have. yeah i ache a bit but its better than the work i have been doing lately.
not a bad day in all went out with 6 to do and ended up getting another 2 in the same street so 8 done in all.
the new ones where a £16 every 6 weeks and a £20 every 4 weeks so good day in all

where in essex are you mark - im in essex near colchester - when i first started i could do 3/4 houses and use the bulk of a 500ltr tank now i could probably get 15/20 out of it and im sure still room for improvement. would say you doing 8 in a day is okay bu no doubt youll build up from there. i dont average 8 a day myself yet but have done 7 jobs in 3 and half hours fairly recently so i know icould venture to 15 jobs a day, dependant on type of houses.

im actually in hertfordshire now not changed my profile im in cheshunt.
i dont think its that bad going by what you have just said. i know i have used a lot of water but 8 houses all cleaned twice and cleaned well twice so a lot of waisted time spent going over work i have already done.
also they where all biggish houses my lowest priced one today was £15
how long should i spend on each average sized window now the first clean has been done
i know that question is a bit how longs a piece of string but average pvc 2 opener with fixed glass in centre for example

Get Pure freedoms new control valve around £25.00 inc vat & delivery a/d is better but may add to much weight to the end of your pole
