Title: Window Cleaning 19 floors up!
Post by: supernova77 on March 25, 2011, 12:24:27 pm
Hi All,

Just thought I would show you a few pictures of some work we did yesterday. We cleaned 6 penthouse apartments 19 floors up!

Its the very top of the tall white building you can see in the first picture...

The guy in the pictures is Mike not me!  :)

That could be a real pain if you run out of water!

Jesus Christ,
I am going to say 1 thing - get a friggin lasso on your pole before you dangle over the edge of buildings man! You or anyone who works for you drop that or lose your grip you will be cleaning the inside of a prison cell in your next photo from having killed someone with a water fed pole!!

Or remove the photo so your insurers don't have a fit.

Sigggghhhh.

The one on the right with the glass roof is called Matrix House. It houses sun life of canada and also has some office space up for rent aswell.  :)

This is the problem

If some body did drop a brush head or pole
Possible death and prison sentence (corporate manslaughter act)
Insurance claim

For the sake of a few quid lanyard

Risk assessment

Great pics

Wouldnt the hose feeding the water to the brush-head searve that purpose?

Matt

No there still would be a possibility of hose connection failure to the  pole

Pictures like this could be used in training courses for bad practice
