Title: Grout colourant.
Post by: sherco on March 23, 2011, 10:26:13 pm
This is a new product from America i have been testing it is a coating to put onto wall & floor grout to change the colour and seal the grout. These photos are of a bathroom i tiled for a customer and just as i had finished grouting she told me she did not like the grey grout and wanted it white...If any of you have done a re-grout of a bathroom you will know it takes ages and is hard work. This product is so quick.

Looks good.

I viewed one at the stone show.

One of the Techs said that theirs is only really useable on 2mm grout lines that where the tiles havent been ground down to the grout line.

How does this compare?

Looks like a good bit of Tiling by the way  :)  I'm just about to tile out and fit a bathroom myself this week, it's been a while and I'm looking forward to it, it's taken two days just to rip out and fit a new sub floor!

Did you use a sealer over that stuff or does it not require one.

This seals the grout better than any sealer i have tried, and keeps the grout easier to clean.

24hrs for shower walls and 72hrs for shower floor if tiled.
