When using pure clean as a spotter can it be left on the stain as you can do with micro spotters or does it have to be rinsed?
Thanks

Hi Wayne
It will be fine on most carpets but remember its about ph 9 so there will be potential for discolouration on high or full content wool. Best to have an acid spray to hand to finish off with just in case or better still, find a more ph neutral alternative for such occasions.

Thanks for that,I was asked by someone who i did a job for about 6 months ago and with whom I left a bottle of microspotter if i could supply her with some more asap.I dont have any at the moment so wondered about making her a sprayer up with some Pureclean.
Given your advise perhaps its best if i get some microspotters re-ordered

I give all my custys pureclean as spotters and they love it. There are a couple I dont though and they are the 100% wool ones. thats the nice part about it. You know what your customers have so can quickly rule out pureclean for the odd unsuitable carpet

I did a job just before xmas where a lot of tar was on a low profile commercial carpet i mixed up some pureclean as suggested on the container 250ml per litre boiling water sprayed it direct on the spots and stains they dissapeared amazing stuff, i now use it for extraction and spotting it is very low foaming and soap etc free economical to use as well.

Something has happened to Pure Clean recently, it used to be merely good, now they must have re-formulated it and it is now FANTASTIC! ;D

I love the low foaming aspect of it, i did have a problem using Ultrapac renovate and rinsing with f f rinse used to foam up quite a lot Doug Holloway suggested Pureclean since then i havenever looked back if i can use it i do, never tried it as a prespray though just seems odd using it as prespray and rinse.
