Hi guys, I will soon be building a shed to house my RO setup and storage tank. I've been looking at rectangle tanks with and without buffering (not that I need any) and think I've found one or two at around £150 delivered.
I'd like a 75 Gallon tank just for storage but will also need to pump that water about 80' up a sloped garden to my motor to save me carrying it all ;D
Anyone else use a mains powered pump to transfer, I'm only seeing expensive stuff and wondered what you guys use.

1000 lt ibc £50.00 ish
submersible pump £10.00 bq maybe back to old price of £25.00

I'd go with Bob on this one.... i have the ibc & sub pump (though mine was from wikes)
-
Thanks guys, I can't squeeze a 1000L in there as it's a small space but I'll certainly have a look at the pumps. Anyone got a name of the pump your using?
Cheers for the help :)

This is what i have though it was only £30 when i got it... most diy places should sell them

I have my ibc outside and RO in (during the winter), with the pipe going through a neat little hole in the door frame (dont tell my letting agent)
you can see water butts - 640L - 4 of them which take up more space than the 1000L ibc does - dont use the butts any more

Cheers for the link Blue frog, I have to build it all enclosed to keep everyone happy as it will all be on display and probably get pinched or freeze up and burst ;D
I might drop in on Wicks later for a look about, see if I can pick up a loft tank while I'm there.

Keep one of these ibc's full and no one will pinch it ! All you need to do is put wood around the frame and paint it a pretty colour (i promised the wife i would do that... think she's forgot as i havent heard anything about it for a while)

Fool ;D
You just know she's scribbling away at a big list of jobs for you this coming summer ;D
