Title: income per employee domestic business
Post by: TomCrowther on March 21, 2011, 08:36:31 pm
Hi All
When employing a wc on a domestic round, how much revenue do you expect them to generate? I am still building up my round and am planning to employ for the first time.
I plan to get one guy, on his own in a van but not having done this before am a little in the dark as to what I should expect him to bring in. {My round is not the most compact, but neither is it spread all over}.
Any response greatly appreciated.

My opinion is 180- 150, on the same work that you might hit 200-250.But that's only an opinion.

The way i tried was to have another man in my van with me.

The best method, in my opinion is three men in a much larger van.

Hi Bob, I am creeping toward the 200 mark, average £19. Am also doing powerwashing which is proving a good earner. I can see the time approaching where I won't be able to do them all {not there yet obviously} but want to have the plan refined for when I do.
Slumps,I have a big van with 1000 litre tank but feel that it's a lot of faffing around having two guys on domestics, two reels, hoses etc getting in each others way. If it was all compact and one doing the fronts, one the backs it would make more sense.
