Title: Tips on using a water fed pole.

Ive got my packpack set up together and got my water ready but haven't tried it out yet is ther any tips you can give me also when window sills are very green will the pure water and brushing get it off?.Another question i have if i get a job where a conservatory roof for example is very bad what is the best cleaning product to put on first and how is the best way to apply it? thanks.

check out s.a.j's vids on youtube and for that matter just type in water fed pole into yourtube. should keep you busy for a while mate, let me know how you get on

Thanks ive been having a look and it all seems simple.

But i did want to ask a question nearly all of the youtube vids show windows that are not that dirty, my parents have just moved to a house where the window sills are very green (upvc windows) how would i go about cleaning this off also the same for conservatory roofs, is it wise to do this with my window brush or get another brush? and on one of the vids they were spraying some detergant on the conservatory roof first what stuff is the best for this sort of job thanks.

i use my day to day window brush for first cleans too! i use another brush for conny roofs, as a matter of fact ive got my first real dirty conny roof tommorow. ive done one before but it wasnt really that dirty so i just used my day to day brush!

apperently some people use T.F.R (traffic film remover) detergent sprayed on conny roof first, leave to soak for a few minutes, then w.f.p off!

Others say fairy is just as good, i cant comment. yet!

TFR seems to be what those in the know use on conservatories I think Fairy is "old skool"  ;D  Have a read down the forum as there's plenty of posts about TFR and its usage.

The green is only surface dirt, it will come off with a bit of scrubbing, I'd be tempted to go back to the sills after doing the frames and windows if they are that bad.

Con roof,

I wet several panels at a time, dip a brush into a bucket of water & multi purpose cleaner (cheap Own Brand) work into panels that are wet, then wash them off. Anything really stubborn, just go back to it after a few more panels.
