Title: Best way
Post by: JandS on March 20, 2011, 06:56:39 pm
Got a suite to do next week, she asked me to
look at it last week whilst I was working next
door.
Fabric cushions but the arms and back are like
a brown leather, only it's not leather, with a
slight nap.
Have seen them before and there not very
expensive but wonder what the fabric is and
best way of cleaning it.

Slightly damp cloth with water or MS, Clean the cushions as normal, cushions go dark when damp but lighten on drying, let the customer aware before the clean, cleaned loads of these

Think I know what you mean....Is it a DFS jobbie?  Some friends have one very similar by the sounds of it, the "leather" is microfibre.

If you're using a detergent-free pre-spray on the fabric, I'd maybe just overspray a little on to the other bits and run a damp towel round them after extracting the fabric.
