Title: Leather Cat Scratches

Hi Guys
Have a leather cushion with cat scratches can any one talk me through how to repair i did LTT few years ago
and just need to remind myself . I also need to get some color mixing done as it is a real pain to match up.
Have left ans phone message with Judy no reply. It is a pigmented leather pictures attached
Any help much appreciated

the claws from cats cut into the leather then turn it inwards so the flap of leather is still their it just needs coaxing out with a steel toothpick, then a hint of glue, no recolour needed.

well this is the case normally :-\ :-\     but from those pictures there are too many of them....... so sand-fill-recolour-re-grain(?) send a sample of the leather to Judy to make up the pigment.

this is from my limited knowledge so might not be 100% correct ;)

Leather Cat Scratches!!!

Never seen a leather cat let alone one that scratches.

Tony has the cat gone now then otherwise i assume it will just start again as soon as you have finished.Regards Alan(swindon)

Looking at the photos... I wouldn't attempt it personally!  But that's just me, maybe Judy can advise better she's the expert

Gone? if it was mine you could be 100% sure it would be gone  ;D, that's been an ongoing assault on that sofa for some time.
I'd simply get the colourant and with a fine paint brush fill in the scratches.

Looked at this job last Thursday and thought leave it alone but the client is keen to have it done
and willing to pay well oh and the cat is no longer with us.
