Title: Me again with more pics
Post by: S.A.J on March 19, 2011, 04:34:22 pm
Today I only had 2 jobs to do

Done both of these on my own.

Sorry about the quality of some of the pics, the sun was playing havoc today!! It was always just poking above the gutters right in to my eyes (typical)

Job 1 is a conny roof clean and house windows.

Took about 2 hours to do with 30mins of that talking to the customer.

Price for the job was £60.

What type of brush do you use for gutter and soffits. I was thinking about getting a vikan hi/lo brush. Normally i just use a double trim brush

@ s.a.j

sorry for been stupid but what is the reason for having your pole hose outside and wrapped around the pole instead of running through the the inside of the pole?

good pics as per usual, better than the rubbish that rich usually puts up on here  ;D

the sprayer looks good, is the end that you have on your pole the end that came with the sprayer?

Hi

His CLX pole has the hose running inside the pole. The are a couple of pictures where the pole is casting a shadow on the wall. There was other pictures posted where he was using his SL Gardiner Pole which is modular and because of this the hose runs outside. When I occassionally use my Unger Teleplus Pole, its easier to spin the pole round as you are lifting it up to the window than letting it dangle from the brush.

SAJ,

How much spray do you get out of that sprayer before you need to re-pump? does the massive length of the hose affect the pressure?

Chers,

Matt

Landy2

We mix ubik 2000 with water in the pressure sprayer, spray on leave to soak for 5 mins then scrub off.

Steve_c

I only use a Super-Lite® Xtreme for everything.

GB Window cleaning

Spruce answered that for me, cheers spruce  ;)

Lee GLS

Its is the sprayer end that came with the sprayer, I think we got the sprayer from wilkinsons for £15 (I think?)

Of course I have better pics than Rich, I am after all the best window cleaner in Plymouth ;D (with a camera ;D)

Matt Gibson

Usually pump it up to 2 on the gauge, that will last for quite a while but its not that hard to re pump it lol  ;).

We only spray small sections so the solution does not dry out too quick.

As for the length of the hose, no it does not make a difference.

P1w1

Ponit and snap mate point and snap, really easy  ;D ;D 8)

Good post SAJ, always handy for us novices to see what goes on, a picture being worth a thousand words an all.

Also super nice of you to off the use of the pix, I'd like to nick the first one please until I get round to taking some of my own as I'm lacking a few images  :)
